Let it be known!
I am climbing up this tree (through this jungle) and making discoveries along the way. I realised after participating in the Block week for my Social Innovation & Citizenship module, that keeping a journal and writing regularly keeps the mind fresh and open to change. This iterative process is also vital to establish a regular audit of ones' self. Only through constant reflection can we make sense of our realities. Only through communication and interaction with others can we find common ground and relate, respond and interrogate our assumptions.
I'm learning to use Miro...it's amazing!
This is a piece from my assignment reflection - "I found that even though my group members come from different backgrounds, are of different races and ages and cultures, we all had similar stories that make us who we are. We leveraged our strengths and experiences which helped us move through the assignment effectively. When we had difficulty understanding parts of the assignment we worked through it. If the hearts and minds are in the right place we can collectively achieve great things. By celebrating one another's life journey we see the whole picture and this makes mapping complex problems much more efficient uncovering nuances and treasures we never knew existed. I learnt that we need to sit with a problem and constantly ask questions and reflect on life and real world situations before we can cement an effective response. Proper effective response-ability requires honest reflection and social inclusion."
